Hyve Group, an international events company, has announced the acquisition of LegalTechTalk, a European event focused on legal technology and transformation.

The acquisition marks Hyve’s first move into its new Legal SuperVertical and comes one week after the launch of its Ascend30 strategy. Founded in 2024, LegalTechTalk has grown rapidly, with its 2026 London edition attracting more than 5,500 attendees from over 70 countries and more than 450 speakers. According to Hyve, 62% of attendees were C-suite executives or other senior decision-makers.

From European Event to International Platform

LegalTechTalk brings together participants from across the legal and technology ecosystem, including corporate legal teams, law firms and technology companies developing solutions for the legal sector.

The acquisition is also expected to support the event’s international expansion. Hyve plans to support the launch of the first LegalTechTalk event in the United States, scheduled to take place in Miami Beach in December 2027.

LegalTechTalk founders Bradley Collins and Mikkel Jensen will remain involved in the business, working with Hyve’s teams on its next stage of development. Hyve also plans to invest in new event formats and expand its hosted meetings programme.

A Sign of a Maturing LegalTech Market

The transaction comes as AI and other technologies continue to reshape the delivery of legal services and the operations of law firms and corporate legal departments.

While LegalTechTalk is primarily an industry event, its acquisition by an international events group reflects the growing commercial and institutional importance of the ecosystem connecting legal services, technology and professional services.

The next editions of LegalTechTalk are scheduled for 16–17 June 2027 in London and 13–15 December 2027 in Miami Beach.The partnership is designed to bring legal research, case intelligence and document automation closer together, giving personal injury attorneys access to a broader set of AI-powered tools within the platforms they already use.
