Lexafide, an AI voice agent platform built for law firms, has announced the results of its deployment with Richmond Vona, LLC, a personal injury firm based in Buffalo, New York.
Over the past month, Lexafide’s AI voice agents opened 11 new motor vehicle accident claims across eight insurance carriers, including State Farm, Progressive and GEICO. According to Lexafide, the agents successfully navigated each insurer’s intake process and obtained a claim number in all 11 cases.
The technology is also being used to follow up on existing claims. During the same period, the agents logged 23 requests for PIP ledgers and independent medical examination (IME) reports, tracking the requests through to resolution.
Lizzie DePalma, Operations Lead at Richmond Vona, said the firm’s work with Lexafide demonstrates how automation can be integrated into an existing personal injury workflow, adding that the firm plans to expand its use of the technology to PIP and IME report requests.
The deployment illustrates a practical use of AI voice agents in legal operations: handling repetitive telephone-based communication and administrative follow-up while allowing legal teams to focus on the substantive aspects of their cases.
Lexafide says claims-opening and follow-up agents are among the most common starting points for its work with plaintiff and personal injury firms.
